Business Leader | Entrepreneur | Investor | Advocate for Africa’s Economic Transformation

Mr. Judson Wendell Addy (RTD) is a seasoned business leader, entrepreneur, and investor with over 40 years of experience in executing international projects. His work spans a broad spectrum of sectors, including trading, construction, banking and finance, business development, and trade export consultancy. His background in Marketing and Finance has enabled him to collaborate effectively with investors and financial institutions—both public and private—across the globe.

Driven by a passion for humanity and a strong commitment to family values, Mr. Addy continues to champion sustainable development, peace, and economic transformation in developing countries. His core mission is the economic empowerment of nationals, with a strategic focus on sustainable rural economic activities that underpin peace and stability—fundamental pillars for national security and development.

Mr. Addy is a leading advocate for a Charter on Private Sector Development, Rights and Protection Environment in Africa—widely known as the Private Sector Bill of Rights (PSBoR). He champions this initiative as a necessary framework to create an enabling business environment across the continent.

A visionary in integrating sectors, Mr. Addy strongly promotes collaboration between Academia and the Private Sector. He sees this partnership as essential for producing relevant data and tailored skill sets to meet business needs. In his view, the combined forces of Academia, the Private Sector, and the Public Sector form the tripartite engine necessary to drive policy reform and implement the RECs and AfCFTA protocols, steering Africa into the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Africa (FIRIA).

“AfCFTA is a GIFT to the private sector, stakeholders, and the people of Africa from the leaders of Africa. The Private Sector and Partners must seize the moment for collective actions to deliver  Mother Africa!”
— Mr. Judson Wendell Addy (RTD)

Mr. Addy has actively participated in national, regional, continental, and international conferences, where he continues to push forward his vision for Africa’s transformation.
